Mike Haynes was born and raised in northern Illinois and worked in the construction business building and remodeling homes for ten years. In 1982, he moved to the Twin Lakes area where the beauty of the lakes, rivers, and surrounding area matched only by the friendly people, made him decide this was where he wanted to raise his family.
